Saturday April 16th
8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Hayden Ferry Lakeside (just east of Tempe Beach Park). Wild and crazy cardboard boaters race their creations around a 200-yard course on Tempe Town Lake. The top three winners of each division get trophies and “bragging rights”. Other special awards include the Titanic Award (for the best sinking ship), Vogue Award (best dressed), Most Spirited, and Peoples' Choice.

Just when you thought we couldn't have any more fun: enter the lottery on race day for a chance to win an "Instant Boat®" kit. Ten lucky teams will build and race a boat during the day on Saturday!
